Gold Quill Award for Pizza Boy!

Super cool! The League of Utah Writers has awarded Pizza Boy and the Super Squad with the 2021 Gold Quill award. Topping all other middle grade and young adult books, Pizza Boy won the award for best novel in the youth category. Cover, layout, illustrations and, of course, the writing all factor into the award, which is judged by an independent panel of experts.
To celebrate, I visited Spring Canyon Middle School for a master class on writing stories, and, of course, a pizza party!
